It was founded in 2004 and soon it became one of the world leaders in the supercritical CO2 green extraction technology. Using its technological platform and bio economy-based model, SOLUTEX (SOLU) manufactures unique specialties originating from natural, raw and renewable materials. Out of these specialties, the company has developed a broad range of products of high growth potential and added value in the biolipid segment (the ω-3 concentrates EPA and DHA). These ingredients are obtained through extraction technology and supercritical chromatography which allows the company to concentrate, fractionate and purify in an extremely effective way. Extracts are supplied by SOLUTEX as active ingredients to the pharmaceutical industry and as functional ingredients to the nutritional and cosmetic industries, depending on their concentration and purity.
